I had my art education in Belgium at BKO academy in Overijse: 2 years Ceramics, 5 years Painting, 5 years Digital graph & illustration and 4 years Photography. At SLAC academy in Leuven I did 2 years Painting specialization.

A painting should not attempt to be a photograph.
Colour to me is more important than form, and I would go as far as to say that it supersedes the narrative. Abstract art without clearly defined and recognizable shapes, encourages me to create my own story and fascinates me on a superior level. The associative, the memories, dreams and sentiments play a bigger role than its figurative recognizability. You should be able to generatie your own experience, which is what I demand from my work. My paintings impact the observer, in whatever way. I will not direct their experience, as I do not purport any message with my art.
